Your files never leave your device
Every other free PDF merger uploads your documents to a server, processes them there and sends back a link. Their privacy policies typically promise deletion after an hour — but the files were still transmitted, still written to someone else's disk, and still passed through their infrastructure.
This tool loads a PDF library into your browser and does the work locally. You can verify it: open your browser's network tab, merge some files, and watch that no upload occurs. Disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
What is preserved
Page content, embedded fonts, images and vector graphics all carry over intact. Interactive form fields, digital signatures and some annotations may not survive — signatures in particular are invalidated by any modification, which is by design.
If a file will not merge
Password-protected PDFs cannot be read without the password. Remove the protection first, then merge. A file that fails may also be corrupted — try opening it in a PDF reader to confirm it is intact.

Are my PDFs uploaded to a server?
No — and this is the main reason to use this tool. The merge runs in your browser. Open your network tab and watch: no upload happens. Disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works.
Is there a file size or count limit?
Up to 30 files, 100 MB each. These limits protect your browser's memory rather than pushing you toward a paid plan — there isn't one.
Why will my password-protected PDF not merge?
Encrypted PDFs cannot be read without the password. Open it in a PDF reader, save an unprotected copy, then merge that.
Are form fields and signatures preserved?
